When an employee leaves the company, it’s important to deactivate their wellness allowance. The procedure depends on whether you have an integration with the Epassi portal or a manual setup. Contact customer@epassi.com if you're unsure which setup your company has.
How to deactivate an employee:
Integration with the Epassi portal
All changes must be made via the company’s integration file to ensure updates are processed correctly. To deactivate an employee, do the following:
- Enter the employee’s termination date in your payroll system. This must match the deactivation date in the integration file sent to Epassi.
(In some payroll systems, this date may be referred to as a “monitoring date.”) - The employee’s access to the wellness allowance will end once the deactivation date has passed.
Additional information:
Employees whose employment has already been terminated in the payroll system are not included in the file sent to Epassi.
