Do I need to be on-site at the supplier when making a purchase?

Yes, if the payment option offered by the supplier is "Pay in the app at checkout," you need to be on-site at the checkout when you complete your purchase.

Pay on-site:
If "Pay in the app at checkout" appears under the payment options, you need to be on-site when completing your purchase.
Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the supplier and log into the app on-site.
  2. Search for the supplier's name using the app's search function to find the specific profile. If you have location services enabled, the supplier should already be at the top of the list.
  3. Select the product or enter the amount for what you want to purchase.
  4. Show the receipt to the staff. Please note that the receipt is only valid for 15 minutes, so make sure to be at the checkout when you confirm your purchase.

The payment function varies between suppliers, and not all of them offer all payment options.

Different payment functions:
When you click on the supplier where you want to make a purchase, you can see which payment functions are available for that specific supplier.

Below are the payment options different suppliers may offer:

  • Pay in the app at checkout
  • Pay in the app remotely
  • Pay on epassi.se via Online Payment
  • Pay on epassi.se via Use Benefit and Buy Now

The question "How do I make a purchase via the Epassi app?" in our FAQ also describes the different payment options.

Feel free to watch our instructional video below or the Epassi user guide, which explains the steps in detail.
